Bengal Live রায়গঞ্জঃ নোবেল জয়ী অর্থনীতিবিদ অভিজিৎ বিনায়ক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়কে নিয়ে এবার বিতর্কিত মন্তব্য করলেন বিজেপি নেতা মুকুল রায়। “অর্থনীতিতে নোবেল পেয়েছেন বলেই তিনি যদি বিশারদ হয়ে যান তাহলে তো উনিই ভারতবর্ষের অর্থমন্ত্রী হয়ে যেতে পারেন।” সোমবার উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলার কালিয়াগঞ্জে এসে নোবলজয়ী বাঙালী অর্থনীতিবিদকে নিয়ে এমন মন্তব্যই করলেন বিজেপি নেতা মুকুল রায়।
কালিয়াগঞ্জ বিধানসভা উপনির্বাচনের আগে সাংগঠনিক বৈঠকে যোগ দিতে সোমবার উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলার কালিয়াগঞ্জে এসেছেন বিজেপি নেতা মুকুল রায়। সাংবাদিকদের মুখোমুখি হয়ে নোবেলজয়ী অর্থনীতিবিদকে নিয়ে বিতর্কিত মন্তব্য করেন মুকুল রায়।
তিনি বলেন, “উনি নোবেল পেয়েছেন বলেই তিনি যদি অর্থনীতির বিশারদ হয়ে যেতেন, তাহলে তো তিনিই ভারতবর্ষের অর্থমন্ত্রী হতে যেতেন। ওনার বিপক্ষে বলার অনেক জায়গা আছে। অভিজিৎ বাবু তাঁর নিজের কথা বলেছেন আর বিজেপি নেতৃত্ব দলের কথা বলেছে।”
বাঙালী নোবেলজয়ী অর্থনীতিবিদ অভিজিৎ বিনায়ক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়কে নিয়ে এর আগেও বিতর্কিত মন্তব্য করতে শোনা গিয়েছে বিজেপি নেতা রাহুল সিনহাকে। এবার সেই তালিকায় উঠে এলেন মুকুল রায়ও। বিজেপি নেতার এমন মন্তব্যে জোড় চর্চা শুরু হয়েছে সব মহলে।
