পশ্চিমবঙ্গে প্রথম শিল্পীর জীবদ্দশাতেই তাঁর নামে তৈরি হচ্ছে প্রেক্ষাগৃহ। ‘নচিকেতা মঞ্চ’ নামাঙ্কিত এই ৮০০ আসন বিশিষ্ট এই প্রেক্ষাগৃহটি তৈরি হবে হাওড়ার আমতায় ।

 

Bengal Live ডেস্কঃ  সাধারণত মৃত্যুর পরই শিল্পী তথা বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিবর্গের নামে তৈরি করা হয়ে থাকে ভবন বা প্রেক্ষাগৃহ। কিন্তু এবার প্রেক্ষাগৃহ তৈরি হচ্ছে গায়ক নচিকেতা চক্রবর্তীর নামে, তাঁর জীবদ্দশাতেই। ‘নচিকেতা মঞ্চ’ নামাঙ্কিত ৮০০ আসন বিশিষ্ট এই প্রেক্ষাগৃহ বা অডিটোরিয়ামটি তৈরি হবে হাওড়ার আমতায়।

তবে নচিকেতা চক্রবর্তী প্রথম নন, এর আগে শিল্পী ভূপেন হাজারিকা’র নামেও তাঁর জীবদ্দশাতেই তৈরি হয়েছিল অডিটোরিয়াম। তবে পশ্চিমবঙ্গে ‘জীবনমুখী’ গানের স্রষ্টা নচিকেতাই প্রথম। তাঁর ‘জীবনমুখী’ গানের সূত্রেই নচিকেতা ছুঁয়েছেন জনপ্রিয়তার শিখর। শিল্পীর ‘নীলাঞ্জনা’, ‘অনির্বাণ’, ‘ডাক্তার’, ‘বৃদ্ধাশ্রম’-এর মতো গানগুলি এখনও সমান প্রাসঙ্গিক। বহুদিন ধরেই কলকাতায় দু’টি চায়ের স্টল রয়েছে চা-প্রেমী শিল্পীর নামে, পাটুলির অন্যতম আকর্ষণ এখন ‘চা ও নচিকেতা’ । এছাড়া ২০১৯ সালে হাওড়ায় সাতদিনব্যাপী মেলাও হয়েছে নচিকেতার নামে। এরপর এবার তাঁর নামে তৈরি হতে চলেছে একটি প্রেক্ষাগৃহ। আর তাতে নিঃসন্দেহে খুশি শিল্পী । নচিকেতা জানালেন, “লজ্জা লাগছে। তবে আনন্দও হচ্ছে। আমার অনুষ্ঠান দিয়ে প্রেক্ষাগৃহের যাত্রা শুরু হলে আরও ভাল লাগবে।”

বরাবরই বাকিদের চেয়ে একটু আলাদা নচিকেতা। তিরিশ বছরের সংগীত জীবনে তাঁর প্রকাশিত গানের সংখ্যা প্রায় আটশো। এখনও পর্যন্ত প্রায় ১০ হাজারের কাছাকাছি স্টেজ শো করেছেন শিল্পী। একুশ শতকের এই ডিজিটালাইজেশনের যুগেও তিনি স্মার্টফোন ব্যবহার করেন না। তাঁর কথায় তিনি ‘ক্যাবলা’ ফোনেই সারেন তাঁর যাবতীয় ফোন এবং ম্যাসেজিং এর কাজ। এমনকি শিল্পীর নিজের কোনও ই-মেল আইডিও নেই। নচিকেতা সম্প্রতি লেখা শুরু করেছেন তাঁর আত্মজীবনী, নাম দিয়েছেন ‘বিপজ্জনক হারমোনিয়াম’।

নচিকেতা চক্রবর্তী হাওড়ার আমতায় গত ১৪ আগস্ট একটি বেসরকারি নার্সিং ও ফার্মাকোলজি কলেজের ভিত্তিপ্রস্তর স্থাপন করেন । সেই অনুষ্ঠানেই ওই কলেজে নচিকেতার নামে একটি পূর্ণাঙ্গ প্রেক্ষাগৃহ তৈরি করা হবে বলে ঘোষণা করে কলেজ কর্তৃপক্ষ। জানা গেছে, নচিকেতার ছবি ও বিভিন্ন গানের লাইনে সেজে উঠবে প্রেক্ষাগৃহের অন্দরমহল।
নচিকেতা ফ্রেন্ডস ক্লাব ‘আগুনপাখি’র অভিষেক দে জানিয়েছেন, “কোনও শিল্পীর নামে জীবদ্দশায় প্রেক্ষাগৃহ তৈরি হওয়ার ঘটনা পশ্চিমবঙ্গে সত্যিই বিরল। আমরা ‘অগ্রগতি’ সংস্থার কাছে কৃতজ্ঞ।” অগ্রগতি-র কর্ণধার তপন মণ্ডল জানিয়েছেন, “নচিকেতা তো শুধু সুরকার-গায়ক নন, দার্শনিকও। তাঁর গানবন্দি দর্শনের ম্যাজিকে পরিবর্তন এসেছে বহু জীবনে। নচিকেতা হয়ে উঠেছেন বিপদগামী ছাত্রযুবর প্রেরণা। এমন মানুষকে শ্রদ্ধা জানিয়ে অডিটোরিয়াম বানানোই যায়।”
