কফিন খুলতেই মৃতদেহের বদলে মিলল গাঁজা। রাজ্য পুলিশের স্পেশাল টাস্ক ফোর্সের বিশাল সাফল্য শিলিগুড়িতে।

 

Bengal Live শিলিগুড়িঃ আগরতলা থেকে বিহারগামী একটি অ্যাম্বুলেন্সে হানা দিয়ে ৬৪কেজি গাঁজা উদ্ধার করল রাজ্য পুলিশের এসটিএফ। মঙ্গলবার শিলিগুড়ির ফুলবাড়িতে অভিযান চালিয়ে চারজন গাঁজা পাচারকারী সহ ৬৪ কেজি নিষিদ্ধ মাদক উদ্ধার করে স্পেশাল টাস্ক ফোর্স। অভিনব কায়দায় গাঁজার পাচার করা হচ্ছিল বলে এসটিএফ সূত্রে খবর। ধৃতদের নাম সমীর দাস, অপূর্ব দে, পাপ্পু মোদক ও সরস্বতী দাস। এদের প্রত্যেকেই কোচবিহারের দিনহাটার বাসিন্দা। ধৃতদের বিরুদ্ধে শিলিগুড়ি পুলিশ কমিশনারেটের অন্তর্গত এনজেপি থানায় মাদক আইনে অভিযোগ করা হয়েছে বলে এসটিএফ সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে।

জানা গেছে, ত্রিপুরার আগরতলা থেকে অসম হয়ে পশ্চিমবঙ্গে ঢুকেছিল গাড়িটি। বিহারের বেগুসরাইতে গাঁজা পাচারের ছক ছিল। তবে এই পরিকল্পনা বাস্তবায়িত হওয়ার আগেই এসটিএফের জালে পাচারকারীরা। জানা গেছে, বিশেষ সূত্রে খবর পেয়ে ফুলবাড়ির কাছে সন্দেহজনক ওই অ্যাম্বুলেন্সকে আটকায় এসটিএফ। এরপর অ্যাম্বুলেন্সে রাখা সাদা কাপড়ে মোড়া কফিন খুলতেই উদ্ধার হয় ১৮ প্যাকেট গাঁজা। উদ্ধার হওয়া মাদকের ওজন ৬৪ কেজি। ধৃতদের বিরুদ্ধে মাদক আইনে অভিযোগ জানানো হয়েছে। মাদক পাচার চক্রের সাথে আরও কারা জড়িত আছে সেই বিষয়ে খোঁজ শুরু করেছে তদন্তকারীরা।
